Description: Spacious, bright, detached family house sleeping up to 8 people in a quiet suburban area. Recently refurbished throughout with an integral garage it makes a perfect base for holidays or house hunting. There is a good size secure garden with a brick built BBQ, terrace, and further area for relaxation or play - an ideal location for families with children. Travel: La Rochelle airport approx. 4 mins drive from house. Taxi and car hire readily available. Parking in La Rochelle in the height of the season can be tricky so using the excellent busses or hiring bikes is a good way to explore the area. Calais 700km, St Malo 330km, Le Havre 493km, Caen 440km. Train station approx. 10 mins drive. Flights: La Rochelle, Bordeaux, Poitiers, Nantes. (see our 'links' page for flights). Recommended Ferry: St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen, Le Havre, Calais. (see our 'links' page for Ferries). We reccommend Plymouth to Roscoff (Brittany Ferries), although be aware of price differences depending on times of travel.
